Parenting is no joke. We’ve heard it time and again. Those who are not yet parents tend to shrug this off since they still can’t relate to it but becoming a parent is both a fulfilling and frustrating journey that parents all over the world can relate too even if they come from diverse backgrounds. From the news of the pregnancy to labor and delivery and the actual raising of the child from infant to adult, there are many experiences that will bring tears and sadness but are all a part of the very fabric of life. It’s not always a walk in the park, so do not delude yourself into believing it will be if you are a new parent because it won’t, so deal with it.

However, the times have changed. While the very essence of parenthood remains the same, there are obviously many changes and factors that we need to take into consideration. I’m sure many of you are aware by now that Christmas is already around the corner. Halloween is still a fresh memory for some and Thanksgiving is fast approaching but we know what follows next, right? The Performing Arts Go Digital

If everything was set in black and white, the world would surely be such a boring and drab place to live in. The arts gave a new meaning to the world – allowing people to express their raw talent and inner creativity and bring some color and life to the world. We often associate the arts with artworks and art pieces but they are not the only form of artistic expression there is.

The performing arts are the fluid display of artistic talents in the form of music, dance, acting, and poetry among others. Their performances not only take your breath away but benefit you as well – whether you are the performer or the audience sitting in the crowd. Diversity defines our planet. From the various fauna and flora that abounds us, there are also countless breathing and living species inhabiting the earth. Humans have long since claimed superiority above everything else and made sure to put their mark all over the world – be it up in the skies, under the sea, or smack right in the middle on land. We may argue and disagree on a lot of things because of cultural diversity, language barriers, religious differences and much more but there are other ways on how we rectify our differences.

Festivals are a great way for people to come together and celebrate whatever needs celebrating. Why People Go To Music Festivals

People pursue various interests in life depending on their personality and unique characteristics. Yet there are still major driving forces that unite everyone together regardless of race, religion, educational background, etc. – it is our love for music. Music has different genres and you are sure to find one that you’d like no matter what your interests are. Music helps you chill out when you have nothing better to do and serves as a great stress reliever too.

But some people don’t feel contented by just simply listening to their favorite tunes on the radio, on TV, or through their cellular phones. Going to a music festival is just as good as going to concerts. You get to see various artists perform live in a comfy and lively atmosphere shared by all music lovers. Trouble In The Arts

We do not always understand one another because the world is such a diverse place. We live in different geographical locations and speak different languages too. But if there is one language spoken by all regardless of race, culture, education, and status in life, it is obviously the arts. None of these factors matter in your appreciation for the arts.

We were all born with artistic sensibilities. The art gives us a sense of calm and balance – away from the chaos of modern living and the fast pace of modern life. But not everyone knows how to appreciate its value. Since not technically considered a human necessity, the art sector will cease to enjoy big funding from the U.S. government.

New York City sees itself as the cultural capital of the nation — if not the world — but its artistic community is suddenly vulnerable to budget cuts in Washington, where the administration of President Trump is considering eliminating the National Endowment for the Arts, which provides millions of dollars each year to groups in the city.

The future is not so bright for those in the arts and everyone else who will be affected by the budget cut. We feel for struggling artists who wants to make a name in this world and give back to the world through the art pieces they make.

Rekindling Our Interest In The Arts

If there is one thing that speaks so much about our history as a human race, you can see it through artistic expressions all around is. From primitive cave paintings to sophisticated digital art of today’s modern world, we can see man’s evolutionary progress throughout time. These artistic expressions often depicted a period in history and what it was like back then. It tells of stories forever preserved in time for the future generation to see and enjoy. From a young age, we have learned the value of the arts in our growth as a person. We learned more about the world through our abstract drawings and paintings and it will always bring back tons of good memories even as we go on with our lives as adults. Now, technology keeps on advancing and many seem to forget our roots and no longer knows how to appreciate the arts. But knowing the role of the arts in our lives, we just can’t allow that to happen.
